i7 4770k Encoding Speeds Empty i7 4770k Encoding Speeds

While browsing the astrataro blog (x264+tMod developers), I found a nice link that shows some comparison of encoding speeds with different presets:

Looks like i7 4770k is the most capable cpu of the moment:

i7 4770k Encoding Speeds Haswell_x264_veryslow

Is it really that good? I'd like to know some opinion from anyone of you who actually owns an i7, I'm going to upgrade my hardware soon, so I'm kinda interested.
