New H.264 Encoder "OpenH264" by CISCO Empty New H.264 Encoder "OpenH264" by CISCO

Some time ago CISCO announced that they were going to release an open source version of their own H.264 encoder, they took their sweet time and finally the souce code was released: OpenH264@GitHub

The current version can already be compiled in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express (downloadable here) and this is what it looks like:

I just compiled for testing so I didn't try to encode anything, yet.

Too bad it's not available in 10-bit, at least not for the time being... xD

Actually I didn't notice that my build is incomplete, the main files are missing (lol xD) so I guess it won't work, just don't worry about it, I'll try to provide a working version as soon as it's released.

EDIT: these files actually work! it's just too complicated to use, it requires an external configuration file with timecodes etc, so I won't use it unless they make a better version with High Profile support (now is only Baseline from what I've seen and that sucks).
