One Piece (Warning Spoilers)

Well i wanted to make a discussion forum for the One Piece Anime.

Here you can discusse your favourite One Piece characters, your favourite fights etc. or share your meanings of the latest episode. I am also interested in hearing predictions and thoughts on future episodes.

Favourite character: Roronoa Zoro

Favourite Fight: Luffy vs Don Krieg

My main thoughts on the anime:

The punk hazzard arc has been stretched in to way to many episodes in my opinion. You dont really get that much information in each episode, and it seems to me that they really just want to give the manga a bigger gap. What they should have done is made a filler arc with aokiji and aikinus fight instead

So since they havent done that i really hope we can see that fight in the future. This has to be the most epic battle since Golden Lion entered Marineford.

I was thinking to create this one but didn't know where to start. Avatar shows my favorite character- Nothing beats a man whose boredom you can't even kill! (though I'm torn between him and Mihawk, but latter rarely makes appearances so-)

On a different light, anyone follows Kousei's special editions? At present, they are working on Kuro's Arc but had dropped Toei's cropped upscales. They've decided to re-upscale the episodes themselves without cropping the top- and bottom-side. However, they plan on using 16:9 ratio, at the cost of stretching the video.

Personally, I'd want for them to stick with 4:3 ratio. How bout you guys?

Well i can see why you picked Zoro

And i cant wait to see what epic skills he has learned from Mihawk.

Me and a friend of mine is discussing if Zoro might have gotten one of Mihawks eyes and thats why it seems he has lost it. But the day he opens it all hell breaks lose. Only some fun specilations tho

If zoro has obtained Mihawk's eyes....nah not fun..it make zoro look like a copycat...@.@

Yup, it's meant to be viewed in that ratio. Other screenies seems okay though. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

That could be one reason, or simply lost it accidentally when fighting with the gorillas.

Regarding anime being dragged, can't be helped. It experiences the same kind of treatment during thriller bark and marineford arcs. It's particularly evident when Luffy realized his haki in the island of women.



Man that episode took forever.

Seeing Zoro got trained by Mihawk its just natural that he will have some traits of him. Just like Coby has almost the exact fight style as Garp. But perhaps your right regarding the eye

My fav strawhat crew is luffy, in which i really like the scene that shows luffy screaming, it always gave me a goosebump  , though my fav character overall is actually Lucci, and just some news flash, yibis decided to subs One Piece Film Z BD, and one of their staff already got the goods(even though he's currently unable to rip it  )

Lucci is a sweet character, and i really enjoyed the Lucci vs Luffy fight:)

yep,really strong the only one that have actually pushed luffy to his limit in a physical fight, with the dark justice philosophy it made him a lot more badass  , and well, that fight is the best fight among the fights in one piece overall(it's my fav at least )

yep, awesome goods indeed, and what's wrong with the poll? "Frankey", "Usoppe"? or change the question to "Who is your Favourite Strawhat Pirates crew members?"

 i think it's okay as it is, even though the "What's" part feel a bit off, in any case once the polls have been voted only admin or mod can change it 

yup, the "what" caught mi atención.  i don't care about the characters, unless it's zoro.  anyway, it's changed now. 

What do you guys think about the old marineford battle?....it could have been epic if the animation version of it is nicely done...

Yes i agree it could be epic, but as you say the animation has to be done nicely.

So i just finished the episode 602. Once again they drag it out in my opinion. But all in all not half bad.

Well the episode was great, and it had a nice amount of comedy. Luffy is so careless it alwas makes me laugh.

We have finaly come to the point in the Punk Hazzard Arc were things is gonna start happening. My guess is that in about 4 months time, we can see the end of this arc.

But as always they might stretch it out a little to give Oda some time to get ahead with the manga.

the next war at new world.. the world became upside down...

Today i found myself with a little spare time. So i started to watch One Piece all over again. In Zoro`s fight against Daz Bones it is accualy shown Zoro using Kenbunshoku Haki or something similar to it. He then says that this is not the first time hes feelt this way.

Any opinions on this? Perhaps it some other kind of power.

In the end of the fight Daz Bones also asks him if he will cut diamond next, Zoro says this would be a waste. Meaning in my eyes that he already can cut it.

One Piece Film Z is finally out!
