How to make OP and ED seperated from Video

As for the title, How did you make the OP and ED seperated? and how to syncronize it with video that in the same folder?
please guide me the way...

Separation from the main episode can be done either by:
1. Using an avisynth script to trim the OP/ED out
2. or by encoding the whole episode with --qpfile command to insert keyframes at the correct places. Then splitting the OP/ED in mkvmerge.
The trimmed OPs/EDs are then linked to the main episode adding the SUID of the OP/ED in the Chapter file of the episode. After muxing this, they are 'linked' which means that OP/ED be play along with the main file if in the same folder.
